Finlayson, Barbara A. Psychological Insights of the New Testament; a thesis presented to the Faculty of Theology, United College, in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Bachelor of Divinity. Winnipeg, May 1947.

Abstract

In the last twenty years, a new relationship has emerged between psychology and religion. For a time, the tendency to regard man as a highly complicated organism, whose ideals and insights could only be explained in terms of biological impulses, dominated the field of psychology. However, during the last two decades, psychology and religion have come to realize that they are allies rather than enemies.
