dc.description.abstractLiterature review in support of Phase 1 of the research agenda for the Centre of Excellence for Child and Youth Centred Prairie Communities. The review is intended to establish some of the principal issues facing children and youth in Winnipeg as identified in the local literature. The review is organized according to the twelve determinants of public health as set out by Health Canada, with a 13th, (recreation) added on. The most important of these findings are related to housing and neighbourhood improvement.en_US
