Abstract

An evaluation of an innovative collaborative urban research organization that builds partnerships between academics, researchers, and communities. This case study investigates the Winnipeg Inner-City Research Alliance (WIRA). While focusing on inner-city issues, WIRA also aims to enhance and increase theory - practice discourse. In this, WIRA strives to connect and develop innovative partnerships between communities, researchers, academics, and practitioners.
